We set the bolster up on a slant with blocks and blankets so that mama can feel the opening of the chest, throat, and lower body without too much pressure from the weight of the baby. This is such a supportive technique during pregnancy, postpartum time, and beyond.
Believing that yoga is everyone, Aly is passionate about guiding students to a deeper mind-body connection that releases stress and encourages empowerment for everyday life. She offers one-on-one private sessions in a gentle style that is personalized for you to address any physical limitations or injuries. Aly will guide you through a practice that includes centering, breath work, physical postures, and meditation. Her special attention to alignment will help improve your practice whether you are just starting out or an experienced student looking to deepen your practice.
Aly’s teaching style blends 20 years of learning from many beloved teachers rooted in the Kripalu lineage. She brings an authentic, creative voice and loving presence to her teaching.
